Growing up I've always been a big Garth Brooks fan. So much so, that I swore he would be the man I would marry! Obviously that didn't work out so well for me (Damn you Trisha Yearwood!). Just thought I would mention that because I spent the afternoon listening to GB songs, drinking red wine, and singing at the top of my lungs (sorry neighbours!). It just made me remember how much I used to love...no worship him, and just how awesome his music and lyrics really are :) However (confession #2), I must admit that I find any man with a guitar in his hands pretty sexy! What is it about musicians that us girls find so intriguing? I tried to be a musician myself actually (stop laughing!!). About 10yrs ago I bought myself a sexy blue guitar and spent plenty of time trying to teach myself how to play. I later realised that I should have chosen a better teacher! My brother is an awesome guitar player, I would have loved for him to teach me, but unfortunately my life took me to Brisbane and I missed out on the chance. I still aspire to be a musician one day, albeit a fledgling one! I would love to learn how to put some of my songs to music, even if they are only for my own benefit. Aside from 1001 other careers, one thing I always wanted to be when I grew up was a rockstar (as well as a Vet, a novelist, and a famous poet!). You're laughing again now aren't you? But sadly I have little talent in that department...Unless you count Singstar in which I can definitely hold my own lol Go me! But, you never know how many curve balls life is going to throw at you or what's around the corner, which I guess is what makes life so exciting.
I hope you're enjoying your Friday night shenanigans, until next time...
Peace out
xoxo
