Just sharing another song I wrote, its rough around the edges too. There's usually not too much structure to my songs at this stage, they kind of just spew out onto the page. I'm sure that just put a lovely picture in your mind!

sadness in her smile

hopelessness lies in her soul

Fire in his eyes
lies that hide behind his smile
anger clouds his heart
soul tarnished by guilt and sorrow

all because of her
Confrontations, accusations
indignation, realisations
Oh,
Because it hurts
The truth lies in her heart
she knows now there's nothing left to say,
its over.
Knowing there's no happy ever after
sad that she wont hear his laughter
anymore.

It's all becuase,
The love died
when he lied
then she cried
'cos her fears were justified.
How could she be so blind
she wondered?
Now her hope's gone
she feels all alone
'cos he was all she'd known.
How could he be so cruel
she wondered?
